Lars van der Haar (NED/Telenet Baloise Lions) at the start of the inaugural GP Vermarc 2020; a symbolic important start for him as he battled coronavirus some months earlier in March, saying that he did not ride for six weeks.<br />

The GP Vermarc is the very first pro cycling race in Belgium after the covid19 lockdown of Spring 2020 & which was only set up some weeks in advance to accommodate belgian teams by providing racing opportunities asap after the lockdown allowed for racing to restart (but still under strict quarantine / social distancing measures for the public, riders & press)<br />
