Kris Boeckmans (BEL/Vital Concept - B&B), who was in the breakaway group, rids himself of his leg warmers as the Racing at Dwars door Vlaanderen was temporarily neutralized as the men’s and women’s fields came too close to each other on their journeys to Waregem.
But chaos erupted as some riders in the peloton stopped while others kept moving forward and a funny yet strange cat&mouse game between riders & UCI commissaires began...
