Andrea PICCOLO (ITA/EF Education - EasyPost) collapsing after finishing up Monte Pana after an eventful stage 16.<br /> <br /> There was quite a bit of commedia dell'arte drama at the start of stage 16 after it had already been altered in the days prior to take the peloton over the Umbrailpass instead of the Stelvio, but riders protested the idea of racing the high-altitude climb in miserable conditions (sleet snow and freezing temperatures) and enforced the extreme weather protocol via the CPA.
