A blooded KÜNG Stefan (SUI/Groupama-FDJ) after finishing the Men Elite Time trial from Emmen to Emmen (NED/29.8km) at the European Continental Championships 2023.
KÜNG crashed into the barriers with just a few kilometers to go (crushing his helmet in the process), but decided to continue his race. Only afterward did it became clear he suffered a concussion, broke his jawbone and fractured his hand (on top of the cut in his face that caused the bleeding).
