Kramon_TroBroLeon2016_DSC5363 - Version 2.jpg

After witnessing the 1983 edition of Paris-Roubaix, Jean-Paul Mellouët decides to bring cycling heroism closer to home and starts organising an amateur race that is inspired by roughness/toughness on local farm roads in Brittany. He calls it Tro Bro Léon and in a relative short time (about 30 editions) the race builds an international reputation.
The founder himself admits that being a "bit crazy" wasn't such a bad quality when he started this adventure.
