The very unique #100 is worn by belgian Jurgen Van den Broeck (BEL/Lotto-Soudal).
Normally there are no numbers ending with a zero in cycling races as every team starts with a #1 as the last digit and up 1 for every team rider racing (max 9, so ending with #9).
BUT ever since the tragic death of Wouter Weylandt (4 years earlier) the Giro race organisers promised to never ever use his race number #108 again... and therefore the team leader of the "100" squad, wears the #100 (instead of 101) in memory of WW.
